A fist full of Gems: Game 1 2011
Greetings and well met,

I am Gavin Selman,

I am the current acting head of the Gem Cutters and Jewlers guilds here in Kemp. I am afraid that the former guild master was found killed in our offices last Thundersday killed by assalients unknown.

It would seem that upon his person the jewel known as the Eye of Amontep was taken. Amontep was an ancient Mage-Priest who died 5000 years ago. His gem was cut using the most powerful of sorceries by gnome enchnaters.

The Gem was to be presented to the Church Council as a gift by the people of Kemp. This was to occur in order to bring further unity to Kemp and to act a s a symbol of how all of us here in Kemp can work together in harmany. The new Council Building has been built and paid for by the city guilds and this was to be my guilds contribution.

Any and all adventurers wishing to take part in retrieving this Gem should contact me as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely Gavin Salmen,
Acting Guild Master of the Guild of the Gem Cutters and Jewlers Guild

OOC:

The First Shadows Weekend will take part on Saturday the 5th of March at Laindon Hills, it will be a 10am start with break about 1pm and finish around 5pm dependent on light and weather conditions.

It will cost £3 to play, this is to cover costs of battle boarding, props and spell sheets.

I will need at least 10 monsters monstering is for free. Can you PM me if you intend to monster as I have specific kit I need people to wear.

Gary

Dear Gavin Selman,

Acting Guild Master of the Guild of the Gem Cutters and Jewlers Guild.

I am Paladin As'Vhal'dr, and air elf of insignificant stature in Kemp as I don't tend to travel there often, if I may introduce myself in full this would be appreciated.

Myself and a fellowship of like minded adventurers are interested in the return of your treasured items, as law, order, and harmony in in Kemp is imperative to the fight against the foul evil known as Fang.

Our fellowship holds very little stature in your lands, but as elves we come as Paladin's, Mages in the form of White Necromancers, and more.

Our equipment will be of sterling quality and we will gladly work with anyone of good, and proud up-standing nature.

In friendship,

Paladin As'Vhal'dr.

Salute Master Selman,

In the name of Glorious Bralyn I humbly offer my bardiche, axe, sword and word of honour to offer aid in recovering that which has been stolen. If you will have my service, all I ask is that any reward that I might have received be given over to the poor and needy of Kemp, after the correct tithe has been passed on to my church.

Sir Loin D’Stack

I'm simply one Hell of an Evil Ref

Dear Mr Selman,

You can now relax, my friend, as Sir Bartholomew Morgan of the Knights of the Chalice is on the case.

While it is patently obvious that I could deal with such a trifling matter on my own, I would not turn down the company of whatever other noble souls answer your call for aid.

The Chalice will be very grateful to receive whatever sum you feel compelled to donate in thanks for my services. This is completely voluntary, you understand, as I will aid you purely out of my desire to serve the great city of Kemp and my unending devotion to my fellow man. (Please excuse the smudges you find on this letter, I'm not ashamed to admit that I get quite choked up when I consider our wonderful metropolis and it's fine, fine citizenry.)

When the time comes for us to assemble, please send word to the Boar's Head. Actually, the Red Dragon may be a better bet. Or possibly the King's Arms. As a matter of fact, don't concern yourself with the details, I'll find you.

Yours sincerely,

Sir Bartholomew Edward Morgan, Knight of the Chalice.

Let the Vaagan stay fearless in the face of death
May his axe be as quick as his wits
May his shield be as strong as his heart
And if he shall fall, let his spirit go to Valhalla
