Music St Joseph's Fete - 2nd July - A call to Arms!
Seaxe and Sorcery is once again attending the St Joseph's School Fete on the 2rd of July. We give our support each year to entertain and provide wonderment to the people of St Josephs. The fete starts at 1pm, but we can set-up and get ready from 8am, so please aim to get there between 8 and 9am.

We would appreciate as many people as possible to attend in full costume - the more men and women we can get to the show the better. If possible 10 fighters of various kinds, with water carriers and other members in full kit. I really need us to look our best. We will have our own area as well as a single fight in the main arena.

If people could bring banners and IC throws so we can decorate the white tent this would be appreciated. We stay IC (In Character) for as much of the event as possible and smoking will be done away from the main display or during fights.

If you could bring along a small amount of appropriate IC food and drink we can get the area even more authentic - so no cans or bottles or plastic bags please (unless hidden!). It would also be great to see as many ladies fight as possible. Lets show the ladies and girls of Thurrock that they can get involved as well.

May his axe be as quick as his wits
May his shield be as strong as his heart
And if he shall fall, let his spirit go to Valhalla

I will of course be there and we will be setting up the command tent, if people can bring banners and set dressings please do.

I would just like to remind people of a few things:

A) When we are at St. Josephs or any public demo - we should try and engage with the public and keep our language under control

B) No smoking on site or whilst in kit

C) All out of character kit should be covered

D) The people who bring the seats get to sit in them above everyone else

E) The command tent is not a dumping ground

I want us to be as proffessional as possible!

I know its a good place to unwind and to enjoy ourselves and the school does really appreciate us so lets go for it and make it a good one.

Gary

I would just like to thank firstly those of you who where able to attend this event. Although our numbers where low we fought well and the crowed appreciated it. I am always proud of Seaxe when we support the local community and as always the school where very greatful.

Sadly due to prior commitments i was unable to support you all in person, my spirit however was with you and i hope to be able to give back something to the community that has shown me such warmth and hospitality.

Peace,
