An Elf named Aldric Elerossë Calafalas has appeared in Wickford and is offering 100 gold orbs and for information on a fellow Elf named "As'Vhal'dr" he is currently staying at the Kings Arms Inn and Tavern in Wickford. He has booked the entire top floor where he is staying with his four elven body guards, an elven undead slayer and a rare elven beauty who appears to be a faey elf. All of their food has been brought from their swan ship which is crewed with sea elves of the western isles.
Rumour has it -
Precisely three hours before midnight would strike on the day of the Moon, a large magical beacon of light appeared which only to the most intelligent would be known as a 'teleport'
As the magical energies dissipated an elf walked to one of the main gates of Wickford and preceded to walk inside the city. It appears there was no attempt to hide his identity and magics.
"Greetings Elf" said the Khuul guards to the elf that had just appeared before them. "State your buisness here this late at night and by which means you have traveled here". The guard lowered his glaive as his companion joined him and two others kaldron in this case raised their bows from above the gate house. All awaited the elfs responce.
"Ah, well met, I am Paladin As'vhal'dr."
Said Vhal in earnest.
"I come in search of a fellow elf and mean no harm. I am knight protector and magistrate of Vasildon. While I respect your proud duty to the guard of Wickford, I also understand the long hours you must work to ensure the poor, the children, and more are safe. So, please, take this silver ring of master quality, and sell it for a round or ten on me!"
Vhal said, using his pompous optimism to improve local morale.

Many people in taverns and whorehouses across the area are amazed at just how specific and full of exact quotes rumours are becoming these days.....
"So your the one that Aldric is offering the reward on, in that case lower your weapons lads and lets escort his lordship to where Aldric is staying...we would not want anything to happen to you in our rather rough city my lord elf."
With that the two Khuul and the two Kaldron fall in around the elf paladin. They where joined by two mainite guardmen. As they moved away from the gate house they where replaced at the gate and on the wall by equally looking rough vetrans.
Three Necroguants where seen moving through the forest near Battlesbridge. They where later seen on the eastward road.
Aldric Elerossë Calafalas was concerned the young female Elf in his company had just told him that two of the seven elves he had come to see where now missing from this world and another was lost on this world. He got up from the bench in his boof and made his way upstairs to his rooms!
Aldric Elerossë Calafalas sent word to his people in Braintree, they where to locate the metal and bring it to him in wickford, at all costs they where to avoid the men in dark cloaks.
The Black Hunters , a group of mercanaries under the command of Archeron Byss , a mysterouse mhainite , have been seen in wickford searching for a silver skull
A member of the beggers guild has been arrested, apparently for speading a rumour has it that one of the Heroes of the Kingdom, a noble to boot will be holding a special auction in order to give away one of their most powerful and treasured items at the up and comming New Britiannia games to be held latter this year. Why he has been arrested is unknown.
