The following documentation has been compiled according to the statements of Arcanium member Malcolm Carr and therefore any inaccuracies maybe due to miscommunication...
During one of Douglas Carvine's routine energy scans, his computer showed larger than normal energy readings either inside or underneath Orsett Hospital, Grays (although this was, at the time, undetermined as to which it was). Knowing that Malcolm Carr had contacts in the area, Douglas contacted him to help in investigation, which he accepted. To make up numbers, Malcolm also brought along his "colleague" Arch Stanton.
To begin with, the Hospital seemed somewhat normal with the exception of it's lack of patients. Douglas remained outside scouting the building out whilst Malcolm was able to infiltrate the Hospital by pretending to faint. Arch attempted to follow but was stopped by staff, proclaiming he had to wait in the cafe for the doctors to give the all clear.
Malcolm, at this point been left alone in the ER room, awoke to find the rest of the patience in his room had been slaughtered and their remains partially eaten and torn into by, what appeared to be claws.
Meanwhile, Douglas joined back up with Arch and together they were able to successfully infiltrate the main Hospital without notice and joined up with Malcolm just before being way laid by three clawed humanoids of undetermined origin. They were quickly disposed of before the party discovered a Hell Gate in the Hospital.
Panicked and unsure of what to do, Douglas phoned Doctor William Kaine on his mobile and discovered that a ritual was required to seal it but the party was without any powerful magic to do so and had no option but to seek help from the Hospital's chapel. Using their blessings, the party were able to disrupt and close the Hell Gate using a fire hose attached to a source of, now, blessed water. Remains of the demons that made it through the Hell Gate were removed from the scene, but this is all the information we have on them.
ADDITIONAL: All three members of the party supposedly encountered a mysterious little girl who appeared to be some kind of ghost or thought projection of an identical girl found in the ICU, supposedly only those with knowledge of the existence of the arcane were able to see her. Interestingly, everyone in the ICU unit were left on their life support completely unharmed.
