Dear members it is really quite important to know who wishes to play what when we return after the new year.

An example of this need came up this week in my game. I knew that Kim (The Vixen) and Dave (Vladimir Falcanary) would not be playing so I only included one Vrock Demon, had they been playing I would have included three. Knowing roughly who you have playing week to week allows you to plan a successful game. Had I used three Vrocks against my party this week I would have had no party.

So please give Wayne, Alex and myself a break and choose your games carefully.

Gary – Advanced Fighting Fantasy – This is a continuation of the game being currently being run. as you will see from below THIS GAME IS FULLY BOOKED!
Players - Mick, Harry, Alex H, Kye, Steve P, Dave, Kim and Guest Staring Max as and when he can make it.

Wayne – Rifts – This game has limited places (I think) - Players Sam B, Martin, Paul, Chris, Tom, Cyan, Sam W (please any others let Wayne know and post here)

Alex – Villains & Vigilantes – Again I believe this game has places. Players the only three I def know for this is Josh, Mark, and Emma again other players please let Alex know

Wayne - I'm happy with a character very similar to the one I recently created and played alongside Joshua in a small game Gary made for us. Off the top of my head I forget the details, but he is a Warewolf who prefers his human form but utilises the extras he gains from his mutant side. he is a tech wizard carrying a multi-fold miniture laptop and with an affinity for all things tech. He also prefers a back-mounted long blade over his two side guns. but as I say - speak to Gary regarding the details

Hey guys, just saying Kudo's and respect to our party tonight for an excellent adventure.

Sorry if i was a little off, bizzare, or generally odd, due to the severe bladder infection I took some heavy painkillers and was on anti biotics, on top of which energy pills just to get me there, so its suffice to say i felt a little spaced / light headed.

Generally though, I really enjoyed it, I thought Dave's Orcish ways was hilarious, and the Jokes were quite funny, it worked, and kept me smiling even though i was going through tremendous ammounts of pain, so thank you

As to Gary, I thought your GM'ing was fantastic, the narration was truely brilliant, i was happy to sit there and listen to you describe the different mages and there regalia all night, I felt you were truely at one with your story telling way, and an honour to play tonight in your AFF Campaign.

So, the plot thickens, our return to the land of Blacksand may well be imminent, or a future quest, and on top of this, we need to kill that bloody drow

It would seem that Monday Nights has turned into a 2 Game Show. Rifts and AFF been the only games to run. I know Joshua was mega disapointed as he was looking forward to playing a superhero. Both Rifts and AFF are now slightly oversize but people still seem to be enjoying themselves so it looks like we will keep it as it is for now.

Please if people cannot make monday night or if they find themselves in a position where they are not enjoying their game of want a new one to start please speak up and talk to us.

As for Table Top nights in general:

GMs: You need to sell your games and chase down your players. You need to advertise the virtues of your game and be ready to bring it up all the time.

Players: Do not sit their thinking all the plot is going bye and you are been picked on by said DM. I know for example of monday two times I threw plot one of my players way and twice it was ignored, whilst others really tore into their plot.

Enjoying Wayne's Rifts game so far.

Jedha (my warewolf) is quite sombre, likes to stay out of the way but likes getting things done. Sometimes he'll do things by himself and doesn't always care if others don't like it, but more often than not his actions are directed towards what he considers the good of the group, or the greater good if he's not in a group (and this is the biggest and most varied group he has been within ever).

He's loving the fact that he now has alien tech in the form of a big gun that now only responds to him. Also chomping at the bit to try it out LOL. Havn't morphed to wolf form yet, hasn't felt the need.

And still getting used to what the hell everything on the rifts char sheet means lol.

At the current rate the players in rifts are working through the mission , my game should last another 20 weeks give or take a month or until the players get bored, which ever comes first . This isnt becouse they are slow but rather becouse they are actually roleplaying and not running into things without thinking .

I havent Gm'd in ages and im really enjoying getting back into it , especially as several of the players have recivied items they are happily using with absolutly no idea who or what created them or where they came from . i live players like that mwhahahahahaha..........damn ive said too much lol

Also please note while i hate rules lawyers i have absilutly no problem with players getting the books that are relivent to their charatcers . in fact ill give exp for it as it means less for me to lug down every week . For most players this means the main book plus what ever source book they got their race and or class from . Also providing the gm ( me ) with grub is also another way of getting extra exp .

Special mention must go to Fiziel ( hope ive spelt that right ) who so far in every rifts game he has done has used his jet pack to fly at an apponant and kick them . this is not the most devestating attack he can do and has in most cases caused him more injury than it does the enemy . But becouse he does it every game , he gets the extra exp for playing in character

hahaha. Jedha is easy going. He knows there's probably repercussions from the guns integration but he'll use what he can take and deal with those later.
