Nevyn is not afraid of death. He's already been there, done that, got the scar marks to prove it. And doesn't exactly like being back LOL.
He is however an honourable guy and is honour bound by Tasmina to complete his task of freeing Carla from "her" glade and back into normality therefore sees dieing as a hurdle in the way of completing that task. lol.
He understands that others probably thought his not going was a weakness, but hey, since when has Nevyn given a rat's arse what other people think in that regards??? LMAO Big Grin

Huh, so we are having an OCC discussion to justify IC actions? Fine, but does mean that they can and will be ignored by the characters, which kind of makes them meaningless. Now if Nevyn rather than Sam wants to justify why he abandoned his companions that might be interesting.
Yet again, I never thought myself or Dave would EVER see eye to eye, but yet again Daves words are almost like a majestic crystal ball spraying fourth clarity and wisdom, I agree with Dave 100%.
To be clear this is less a dig against Sam more a general annoyance with people discussing OCC matters in the IC area and vis versa.

I agreed with your reason for saying that the discussion should not have been in the thank you thread, which is why I moved it, but the way I wrote it was indeed OOC but with Nevyn's IC thoughts being transcribed.
Basically I didn't feel it warranted being IC as noone posted a grievance against me IC. you do still have a point though, I see that, but I'm seeing this as a light-hearted flim-flam between everyone on things, not a punch-up wrangle. I'm interested in people's viewpoints on such as this but didn't wanna clog the IC area with it. Of course, if someone were to post IC with a grievance against Nevyn he would of course reply.
So I disagree with dave, alex, max and say this is OOC chin-wagging - unless someone takes it IC as stated above.
But I know you will disagree, and that's what makes this FUN!
