Felous, D'Amberville, Khail, Phaeraun, Blue Mage, Gold Mage,
The Red Mage has invaded Sussex, and you seem content to stand by and do nothing. I appreciate that this is the man responsible for the sundering of your institution, but do you truly fear him so heavily that you will not face him now that he has set himself against Albion?
If you will not, someone must.
Your servant,
Heinrik Mentsguard
Mentsguard,
The Red Mage has now arranged some sort of peace treaty with King Welf.
I do need to speak with you however. Please check your private ley.
Adelaide

We shall see, Pagent. I must admit both that I am surprised the conclave have consented to this, and that the High King would agree. We shall see.

The High King gave king Welf authority to deal with the situation as he saw fit minister . Please remember that King Welf is both the King of Albion and the high kings son while you are , like me just a minion .

Absolutely true, Pagent. I have no more words for you.
ar minister you are back with the living i know you must have been unavoidably obtained or you would have attended this meeting with the red mage wydren and war .but in your absents the high king in his infinite wisdom deemed to send a mage [pagent merryfellow a warrior myself [tilsburg]and his son [king welf] .in my limited diplomatic skills i thought leaving the queen flying around the world for now and saving the lives of thousands of Innocent people seem like a good option .plus with the aygiption on the move in europa it seemed a good idea to have the red mage and wydren on our side plus the four horseman seem to be in the employ of the red mage
your good friend and Alie tilsburg the vaagen
long live the queen
Dear Mentsgard,
Greetings and well met, I am so sorry that I have not had time to broad cast the councils efforts to you however in our own way the Council of Colour Mages has been doing everything it can in its limited capacity to derail the Red Mage.
I will not go into what we had done in the service of Britannia here but please remember the following: One if any group of people had the right to Fear the red Mage it is us, particularly Felous, we also understand the balance of magic in Albion, Britannia, Europa and indeed the world better than anyone and we know how important that balance is restored. Also remember that most of our current Council holders are but apprentices and in the case of the Gold Mage a child!
Felous and myself not wishing to draw upon the darker arts are not as young as we could be so please do not judge us to harshly! Now that the King has forgiven outr brother we will go back to hlping the Amber Mage with her research and training the fellow members of the Council as well as strengthening the Council and rebuilding those towers currently lost to us.
I hope this has adequately stated our position,
Lord Fallowghast
Blue Mage of the Council of Colour Mages
As far as I was aware, the Red Mage was welcomed back into the conclave of the High King's wizard's and nobles. After all, Pagent has no authority whatsoever to even think on behalf of the council of colour mages, let alone speak.
At the moment I find I can't stick to any particular opinion regarding the Red Mage. Though I must admit, I have been a tad preoccupied lately with things that I can actually do something about.

dear Countess i was simply letting the minister know what had happened . Apologies if that offended you
Pagent Merryfellow
Pagent,
Whatever gave you the idea that you had offended me? I was simply stating that it had to be the High King's council that he had been invited to and not the Conclave of the Colour Magi, as that is the only authority you had.
After all, I was very reliably informed that it was yourself who offered the position, so it wasn't anything to do with your explanation in the first place.

Amber Mage & all other titles.
Your informant was not very reliable dear Adelaide as i offered nothing to anyone.
I suggest little Mageling, you watch your tone and act like a proper Mhainite. After all, i was simply clarifying my earlier words.

My Dear Countess
I have simply pointed out that your informant was unreliable. if that has offended you i offer you a most heartfelt apology .

Whilst I have been making my own preparations for certain matters, I have noticed that you have, over public leylines of all places, insulted a countess of the Kingdom of Britannia, and a Mage of higher standing to yourself within the combined Mages Guild, and to that affect, given the marital status of Countess Spellguard Kael D'Amberville have also insulted myself.
In your position I, firstly, would have made enquiries as to where this information came from, instead of simply accepting that it came from a reliable source would not have been enough for me to consider as fact.
Secondly, when addressing a member of the Kingdom or a guild member of higher standing than myself, I take care to ensure that I use the correct titles, assuming of course I have knowledge of what the correct title is to address them with.
Although I can see that you have issued an apology to my good wife, to which I am sure that she will accept in the grace that it is delivered, I would suggest that you amend your apology.
To all the sons and daughters of Mhaine, I impart the knowledge that there is very little that escapes my attention, that there is nothing the darkness of the shadows can hide from me.

I offer my most deepest apologies to you Countess Adelaide

Lord Fallowgahst,
thank you, yes, that has made your position and reasons perfectly clear to me.
Well Pagent old boy,
You do seem to be wearing your loin cloth a little tight, as a Mhainite you sure do act brashly and often speak out of turn. As a man of Mhaine and I hope a descendent of the Ancient Noble House of Mhaine it is your duty and responsibility to speak to those who have earned their rank and privilege in a manner better becoming someone who aspires to greatness. I suspect if the sandal was on the other foot you would be one of the first to kick up a fuss. Mhainite etiquette is not an overly complicated thing after all, we are polite, respectful and obedient to those who hold a higher social or guild rank than us for we would wish to be treated so if we held their rank, we are polite and helpful to those of equal rank because they may one day be our betters or we may need to rely on them as underlings. We are polite to our inferiors because we came from the bottom and may one day return their so it is best not to cause offence. I might also remind you that even in public forum been overly rude can course you problems if you wish to deal with the people you have offended. Now both Lady D’Amberville and Lord Mhorador hold both higher social and guild ranks than you do so please do be polite to both of them at all times. Also it is best to offer your opinions only when asked or when by not offering your opinion the greater good will be harmed.
Now you are a Herald and a Regent of sorts. In Albion a person holding a rank or authority for another is usually known as a Herald. I would recommend that you join the scribes guild as soon as possible if you have not already to gain the full benefits of been a Herald. You appear to have been made King Welfs official herald and also you where appointed Count Darksprings Herald do not bring shame to either of your masters or the offices you have been appointed to especially seen as you seem to have taken this ley line down a route for which it was not intended.
So unless you wish to find yourself labelled as an idiot and a knave do try to be careful especially if you seek to become a colour mage as I believe the existing colour mages have to consent or at the very least they can act against you.
Well I have taken up enough of you good peoples time, oh yes before I go I will be present at the next gathering having already figured out how to find the missing books of Creation, we will need of course the Crystal Dagger and the Soul Forger swords.
Do take care,
Troy Addius
