The mornings light came through the little window in the chamber as it had over the last month every day, to rest on the weak and weary body lain in the medical cot - but today, under the eyes of the attendant Priest the eyelids flickered and colour began to return to the stricken party...
"My Lord! - You Awake!" exclaimed the Jubilant Priest as the figure stirred from his long slumber.
"Urghhh" muttred Rein as he felt the weakness creeping away "Three things before anything else - Please..."
the Priest got to his feet and assisted Rein from the cot, the strength was fast returning to his body, but so long in a near coma had taken a severe toll "As you Command, Your Grace"
"First... Less of the Lord and your Grace business... I didn't like it when I actually held a position in the Church, I like it less now - I am Simply Rein..."
The Priest looked flustered and started to mutter out an apology until Rein stopped him with a casual wave and a shake of the head
"Secondly, I will require Food and Drink, and my Traveling gear - as soon as possible"
"Yes my G.... Yes as you wish"
"Good... Thirdly, and possibly Most Importantly... Fetch me a Scribe to let me know what the Budgerygar has been happening!"
