Forgive me for writing to you personally, I write with the upmost respect and humility. I hope this letter reaches you and that you are safe and well.
Please also let me explain that I do not write this with a meaning to disrepect my Guildmistrees Justicar Grimble, but with her recent absence I feel as a Justicar Templar myself I must write to you. I of course speak in regards to Defender Templar Asvhaldr.
Your majesty, I have only known Defender Asvhaldr for a mere few months however I can already recognise that there are two features of his behaviour, demeanor and manner that truly stand out.
Firstly Defender Asvhaldr is very new to your illustrious kingdom and has little to no knowledge of Guild structure and etiquette of the land, this has led to him speaking out of turn on a number of occasions, not out of malice or disrespect but out of naievity. I have even had to speak to him recently for a personal affront and he showed he was trying to learn and was most sincere with his apology, which I of course accepted.
Secondly, and in my own humble opinion your majesty, is the fact that he is a very capable warrior and a highly learned individual. He is possesed of a courage and honour that most people sadly lack, and has even stood side to side with your son, His majesty King Welf, and as far as I am aware tried valiantly but in vain to rescue him from the circumstances that have recently befallen him. Once again in my most humble opinion my liege thee qualities are redeeming enough to give him a chance to be tutored in his mistake, and made better for it.
So in conclusion your majesty, with knee bent before you I humbly request that Defender Asvhaldr's life be spared, and instead given over to his Guild superiors within the Templars of the church of light for punishment and tutelage in etiquette. I shall take personal responsibility for overseeing this, my word is my bond on this.
