COTH: Naturally posed at rest against Woodland backdrop (agree Laindon hills works perfectly)
1920's: Maybe on the drive of some nice period house
Arcanium: Just about anywhere, but how about setting it like we are about to break into Gary's house? (in the style of the current posters for The Bill)
Future: Posed military group shot, preferably with some delapidated buildings in the backdrop (how about the ones opposite the hall in Tilbury)
If we are going to do this then we should take our time to do it and do it properly.
Where do we find a nice period house and how do we convince the owner of said house to let us use take photos in their driveway?
okay, Firstly, in all four photographs each person will be in exactly the same position for each photograph - this is because its "you through the ages" so by not moving around it reinforces this idea.
Secondly I like the idea of four different locations. The Future one is easy. Based on the groups unfortunate history with Coalhouse Fort i won't suggest there - though if we did use that I'd say the gun emplacement off near the watch tower rather than the actual fort should be used. But there is Tilbury Fort! What better place to do it??? There's two options there - outside on/near the drawbridges or just outside with the fort in the background; or inside (entry fee and probably the cooperation of the fort needed).
Using the inside of the fort serves a dual purpose however as it has the rather grand building that the officers stayed in which would do rather nicely for 1920's. 2 birds. 1 stone.
That leaves Laindon Hills for CotH and "somewhere else" for arcanium

would be far reasier to just do it in one location that we have access to like cherrywood . After all feilds and woodland existed in every time zone
Actually.... One that might really work and be quite good would be the banks of the Thames south of Tilbury.
Appropriate wood/scrub (well enough for a photo background anyway) for COTH.
Shore/beach with possible rusted out boat hulls and dock skyline, good for SF.
The old industrial buildings opposite the hall for arcanium soc.
The fountain/memorial in the green to the south of the hall for 20's.
Also, pretty close for most of the people involved... Which would be handy, particularly with 4 sets of kit and camera equipment!

I really like this idea for the location Troy, spot on. Wehn we do this this is the location we will use. The area around Tilbury Fort is blinding. Might I suggest we do this in either late May or early June.
All I need is to talk to those members who have expressed an interest at taking the Photos. Sam you still have dibs on the main photos which may help raise you some cash, however if anyone else wants to take their own photos I think we should make the most of the day.
We will also combine it with some filming for You Tube, one interview per system/ genre. Max would you handle this side of things?
Lastly we can all then go to the Worlds End of food and drinks during and or after. Lets fianlly make this happen. If you want to be part of this please add your names here asap.
