Greetings and well met,

High guys, you may well remember that a few months ago I mentioned getting some group photo’s done by Sam of the group. Well I have been giving it some thought and I have been speaking to a variety of group members about what we should do and how we should go about it.

Well if Sam can do this and I hope it will make him a bit of money in the process, so here goes:

I want four photos taken each with us in full kit set in three different time zones. Each photo would have the same number of people in, and we would be posed the same in each photo. However the kit and location would change each time.

Photo 1: Company of the Helm – Our very best fantasy kit for our Stereotypical characters set in the wooden ritual circle – Colour

Photo 2: 1920 Horror/Occult Detectives – Our 1920’s characters in full kit looking our best, out side the new storm hut – Black and White

Photo 3: Arcanium Society, full kit and make up maybe if Sam can add them some special effects to mimic powers etc, Set either in fake grave yard or in Car Park etc – Colour

Photo 4: Mutant Chronicles meets 40K. Sci-fi kit to be worn with really big guns and lots of tec and of course skin tight costumes on the ladies? Photo to be taken by Containers and the rubble pile

Ideally people could then see Sam and order what they wanted in the format they wanted with quotes from Sam. We would get it all done in one day and take food down there with us and make a real day of it.

I would want at least 4 A3 Photos to frame for my house. I would also suggest that group, family and individual photos could also be taken ready for the book we are planning and for the web site.

Please let me know what you all think asap.

Gary
Fine by me. Can I ask who you had in mind for the group?

My biggest problem would be I have no Arcanium character - unless you would like my new Paladium character, "Jedha" to become Aranium (That'd be cool in my opinion!)???? The mutant chronicals/40k id' need costume for too as I have nothing for that.

Techically wise it's easy enough, though I would need a photographers aid to position *me* in the correct place in the photos :-) hehe.

Sam
As i've said before, definately up for this. As sam said, i also do not have an arcanium society character, but happy to adapt to fit. For the sci-fi, would you be looking at 40k/mutant chronicles in a war torn future style, so all of us being part of an army or military group of some kind, or more post apocolypse style, so military along with survivors, gang war, steam/cyber punk etc. The only sci-fi characters i have are erik sheefe for firefly, who is almost identical to erik sheefe for 190's, and my ork nob for gorkamorka/40k. Erik is my character for anything non fantasy dark age etc, so can easily use my airsoft stuff to make him more future military looking.
Chris
Thought I would answer both of you at once.

The Arcanium includes a little of everything from super heroes to the supernatural, to high tec genetic super soldiers to spies and very intelligent detectives etc. Each person appears normal on the surface but underneath they are something special. Think Buffy, Heroes, Supernatural, Sanctuary, Hellboy, Cabalistic Inc, World of Darkness, Harry Dresden, Cthulhu etc all raped up in a Gentleman’s club. Everything in the world seems normal but under the surface things are very different.

Sam - The Palladium Modern Character would be perfect

Chris - A modern day Chaosmancer would be really cool for you. A servant of Chaos who knows what GW are really up to!!!

Sam and Chris - Future is entirely up to you anything from Mad Max to Mutant Chronicles and 40K. Go with what makes you feel good. The idea is to be us through the ages in different incarnations.

Hope that helps,

Gary
Sounds awesome, how could I say no to my photo being taken Wink
I'd love to join in this, my only problem is the costumes and costs! I dunno if I could afford all of it. I mean I have my Seaxe stuff and I suppose I could wear the costume bits I used for Jayne in a Firefly LRP, but that looks more today than the future...
No one has to Join in however it would be a shame for people who support us so much not to be part of this.

1920s Kit can be done for around £20 if you use second hand shops, I know thats how much it cost me.

Arcanium really has little to no costs.

Future kit does not have to be expensive either A childs visor, a childs toy gun, little things like ear pieces etc all look the part as do trench coats and leather gear, as well as boiler suits, army surplus etc

Give it some thought and let us know. The phots will be done most likely in August for best weather.

Gary
i am up for this . Company of the Helm kit no problem , i have a trench coat for the 1920s , arcanum is modern so no worries there and future should be easy enough . As a mage i wont be wearing armour , so modern with some extra bits will work for that .

Arcanium kit: Can put together I think might have to loan a gun from someone.
Sci-fi evil future! kit: Might take a bit of doing...cyborg arm mythinks...
looking good. I will sit down with Paul and Sam and begin to put some details together for the rest of you.
Sign me up for this and Martin and Connor if they are not Scouting!

At the end of the day I'm sure between us we can kit out most people for a few photos!

On that note, ladies I have a few costumes for each 'era' with the exception of Arcanium (not 100% sure what that is tbh) so feel free to give me a call and see what, if anything, you may like to borrow.
Arcanium is current day, but as I understand it there can be non-human characters involved (as long as they can hide it somewhat!)
I'm quite fortunate to be honest because My Arcanium character looks identical to Val, oh I love Seaxe and recycling characters.

Awesomeness!
I have all my kit except my 1920's character... hrmmmm... no idea how he should look.
I honestly do love this idea
