Hi Everyone,

Here are the initial dates for Seaxe Events next year. I have tried to avoid special days such as Bank Holidays, Mothers and Fathers Day etc but have not always been successful. With more and more people using Cherry Wood (Which is a good thing) the number of weekends is fast disappearing! I would like to thank those other groups who have moved their dates to help us as well.

Event 1, HMS March Friday 25th , Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th

Event 2, HMS June Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th ,

Event 3, COTH Week Long Thursday 4th, Friday 5th, Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th, Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th

Event 4, HMS September Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th

Event 5, SPECIAL November Friday 11th, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th

These dates are unlikely to change,

there seams to be a distinct lack of MCM

Hiya Robin, the Special, if MCM Carries on as it is, will in all likelyhood be left for MCM events.

It seems like its going to be a brilliant system, with a lot of good positive vibes going towards it, so depending on the ammount of feed back and how much energy paul has (as an event with this much financial effort etc put into it is quite time consuming) is if I suppose anymore dates open up.

These events are the concrete, definite events which usually happen every year, there are often many day events in between.

Hi Guys, quick question, is the Sept event on the 21st till 23rd? and not the 23rd till 25th. Thanks ,its the only one I havent booked off yet and need to confirm the date. Hi guys, to give you an update on things!

Event 3 is looking to be the greatest Event Seaxe will have hosted so far (also known as - Event 3, COTH Week Long Thursday 4th, Friday 5th, Saturday 6th, Sunday 7th, Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th)

Now why is this you might ask? Well, TheVikingStore has personally invested so far over 500 Euro's in kit and I suspect I'm going to be breaking my finances barrier by sponsoring the event by spending near to around £1,000 on props, kit, items of worth and more to make the event extra special (Now bearing in mind the majority of this stuff comes to me at wholesale price) thats like a non-retailer / Customer spending about £2,000-£3,000 on items.

Now of course, Money doesn't make an event, but props, and other items of worth bloody well helps

I'm aware Gary has been putting much effort into it - and You can expect this event Props and items wise to rival some of the greatest events in the UK.

Obviously, TheVikingStore can't do this regularly, so this level of investment and involvement is a one off, so, if you want to enjoy the LARP event of your life time, get involved, turn up, and come enjoy it in what ever capacity you can

TheVikingStore itself has been steadily buying, and building its props and items for the event now for around 6-8 months, so when I say I have been preparing for a long time, we aren't kidding!

Obviously I can't go giving things away, but this is BIG - We will be there trading, but thats insignificant compared to the FREE (Yes free) items, and real Phys repped items which players can keep (rather than just a lammy) and much much more.

If anyone is able to help coordinate my designated adventure / adventures with me, do get in touch as I am hoping to have a designated "team" who are very well clued up and know how to roleplay the characters with a lot of pre-planning.

I'd personally adore a great turn out for this event, as we're you will be I am sure talking about this event for YEARS TO COME!

The CoTH event up date:

Dear friends, the CoTH week event will be quite full on, however we are putting one day aside as a catch up and friendship day. Plot will continue but no formal adventures will be planned instead it will be up to players to ask for adventures if they want to go research something or meet a particualr NPC.

Also after the last HMS event it has become apparent that some players feel it is ok to remain in Camp and wait for plot to come to them. This does not always happen. An example is the Dwarf, Goblin and Ogre plots. Clues, plot devises and items where seeded in the woods to be found but no one really went looking for them. Then a small minority of players moaned that they had nothing to do?

CoTH is even more you ahve to go look for stuff, plot and clues than any other system we run, please if you attend be prepared to go look for plot.

Also note if you want persoanl plot please send your 20 Questions sheet and back ground sheets to me before hand. I will send sam a copy of the characvter booklet and you guys will be able to down load it and then send it back to me filled in. If you want to Ref or put plot into action please also contact me well in advance I will send you an adventure planning sheet which you will need to fill in keep a copy for yourself and send one back.

Also some of you have said you cannot make the whole week if people want to you can attend the weekend Friday to Sunday only. Prices for this is option will soon be avaliable.

Hey guys,

It is probable that I won't be able to make most of the week long event, due to the fact that I will be travelling around Europe for an entire month in the summer and this will likely start in early August, around the 5th-10th. I will however make any days I possibly can before I need to leave on my travels!
