Event 3: Saving the King from (In)Carsia(tion)
The High-King of Albion has demanded that his Son, King Welf, is to be saved from Carsia within just a few short hours of the next Kingdom Gathering on the 16th day of the month of July this year. This is on Pain of Death for all, including those who do not attend! The High King will wipe the Kingdom clean unless we succeed. Also to be recovered are the others who were lost and abandoned whose numbers include, but are not limited to, the King of Wales: Calis Greybeard and his wife the Lady Susan Ravenwing and one of our trusted Emmissaries and several Kingdom members.

The East Tilbury Fete - Saturday 19th June
Greetings and well met, Next Saturday 19th June is the East Tilbury Fete. This is one of the only two Fetes we are doing this year and I need volunteers. If possible 10 fighters of various kinds, with water carriers and other members in full kit. I really need us to look our best. We will have our own area as well as a single fight in the main arena. I would be very pleased if I could get the people who attended the Helm event plus a few more. I would also like people to bring banners and IC throws so we can decorate the white tent. Because we are only doing the two this year I would like to make each one full on. People will stay IC for the majority of the event and smoking will be done away from the main dispaly or whilst fighting. If we get good enough numbers we will also see about putting on IC food and drink between us. I would also like to see as many ladies fight as possible. This will be an excellent oppertunity to show the ladies and girls in Thurrock that they can get involved as well. I need people to arrive at East tilbury between 9am and 10 am for a 11 am start. The more people we have the better. For those of you who do not know East Tilbury I will put a link to a map for you and an address shortly! Please post if you can or cannot make this one, children welcome as long as they are in kit and you keep an eye on them. All men at arms are welcome to attend and take part in some of the arena fighting. Please post if you have any questions, Gary Bates Chairman of Seaxe & Sorcery
