The 30th April is international Table Top Day run by Geek and Sundry. It is a Saturday and Seaxe would love to Run another "Greatest Convention that never was". We need a name change (so people can remember it and want to attend), and I would like to open it up to more people.
We would like traders to set up stalls with their produce. There will be no charge for a stall, just a donation for the raffle and the £3/5 entrance fee (see below).
We would like volunteers to run some RPG/Board or Card games.
We would be looking at an entrance fee of either £3 or £5, depending on the venue chosen.
All money raised will be split three ways.
1. Pay for the venue;
2. To go to charity;
3. To go to Seaxe for a very special project that is being devised as we speak.
We have a caterer lined up and we thought it might be nice if we had space for a bouncy castle.
We are hoping to have Babs Rudlin and her face painting as well.
We need help to put this on!
We need posters and leaflets and for people to take these around Essex;
Help finding a suitable venue;
A page on Face Book;
People to spread the word;
Ideas of where we can advertise the convention (bear in mind we have no budget);
Please remember - this is a Seaxe & Sorcery event. It is being run for fun and I would like to get as many people involved as possible.
If you know anyone who might want to get involved please let Gary know. Pass your ideas on to Gary or Dave or post them to our Facebook page: Seaxe on Facebook

Normally I wouldn't reveal a new-look website until it was finished and polished to a good standard, however on this occasion I have as we need the shop for Yule Banquet payments.
You will be very glad to know that the site is now completely SSL based, which means every page and all data you pass over is secure, inclusing your details when using the shop (though we still use Paypal for the payment so in reality this site does not take any payment details!).
To pay for the Yule Banquet navigate to Shop > Events > Special Occasions and choose your tickets. It will then ask you to register, where your password will need to have at least Upper Case letter and one number to be valid.
Best wishes, and please do enjoy your website, especially as I actually get things up on it! :D

Please Read This Notice!
Due to an unexpected update of the underlying architecture of the website by its hosts the old Seaxe site became broken beyond repair. I have therefore implemented what was a W.I.P. new Seaxe site in its place.
What does this mean? :-
1. All of the news and payment content was random old articles pulled from the old site. All the newer articles are safe, but need to be pulled from the old database into the new one. This will take time!
2. The visual "look" of the site is not 100% perfect (as can be seen at the top of the page). This is not a priority (content is). Pages such as the "About" section are not complete.
3. Even this version of the website is out-of-date already, so there may well be further changes further down the line.
So I need to ask all visitors to the site to please be patient while I get all the up-to-date articles and pages ported over. In the meantime the Facebook page (link on the frontpage) has all the information you might need, and you can ask questions there or on the forum.
Sam / Bifford.
